Kevin Reid (he/him) is senior director, Strategy, Analytics and Insights at Starbucks Canada. In his role, he is responsible for long-term strategic planning in service of helping to elevate the Starbucks partner (employee) and customer experience in Canada.
In his current role, Kevin has brought tremendous impact to the Starbucks Canadian business. He’s helped shape critical and foundational tools teams across the business to drive strategic insights, business priorities and progress across some of the company’s most complex projects.
A longtime Starbucks partner (2008), Kevin has brought sharp thinking and leadership to a wide range of positions across Starbucks Global Coffee, Product, Marketing and Store Equipment Innovation teams in Toronto, ON and at Starbucks Support Centre in Seattle, WA. Kevin and his team helped drive significant Beverage portfolio growth with a focus on developing & launching delicious & craveable new choices most focused on cold beverages, plant-based milks & customization. This includes product launches such as Nitro Cold Brew, Oat Milk and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Starbucks first pumpkin-flavoured cold coffee beverage since the launch of PSL in 2003.
Kevin has also been integral in developing the strategy for integrating new equipment in stores, including the widely used Mastrena, and single-brew innovation, Clover Vertica, enabling groundbreaking beverage development, while reducing complexities for store partners.
Kevin is a caring husband and a proud father, residing in Barrie, Ontario. In his spare time, when he’s not playing ‘barista’ at home while making his own cold brew to sip on (which is also his favourite Starbucks order when he frequents a store), he can be found enjoying the outdoors with his family while skiing, paddleboarding or cycling.
