New Starbucks® Green Apron Blend™&nbsp; is a light and lively Starbucks® Blonde roast coffee, with hints of Honeybell orange and graham crackers, to emulate the brightness and energy of Starbucks partners and stores. Nearly 24,000 idea submissions from store partners shaped its flavour and roast profiles, as well as which regions the coffee was sourced from, and the look and feel of the packaging.&nbsp;

As part of Starbucks continued commitment to its partners, the company is designating $5 per bag and, for a limited time, $0.10 per brewed cup of Green Apron Blend™ sold to the Caring Unites Partners (CUP) Fund, a Starbucks program that provides grants to eligible Starbucks employees in times of need.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

In January, Starbucks launched two new <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-two-new-2020-beverages/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">non-dairy hot beverages</a> — the Almond Honey Flat White and the Coconut Latte — and recently introduced three <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-rewards-new-summer-inspired-drink-menu/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">new Iced Coconut Drinks</a>: Iced Guava Passionfruit Drink, Iced Pineapple Matcha Drink, and Iced Golden Ginger Drink.

As for food, Starbucks added the <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-beyond-meat/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Beyond Meat®, Cheddar and Egg Sandwich</a> to its core offerings in March. The delicious breakfast sandwich has a plant-based patty and expands Starbucks meatless breakfast options.

Convenient ways to enjoy Starbucks favourites

There are multiple ways for customers to order the new Cold Brew or Nitro Cold Brew with Cinnamon Almond Foam. This includes drive-thru, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.ubereats.com/ca/brand/starbucks/?utm_source=starbucks_can&amp;utm_medium=brandpage&amp;utm_content=PAowned" target="_blank">Starbucks® Delivers</a> with Uber Eats (Restrictions and fees apply. See Uber Eats app for details and location availability), <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/how-to-guide-for-digital-ordering-at-starbucks/" target="_blank">mobile ordering</a>, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-canada-welcomes-customers-back-grab-and-go-service/" target="_blank">grab-and-go</a>, and <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-canada-starts-reopening-stores-for-dine-in/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">dine in</a> at participating stores.

At select locations, customers who <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-app-evolved-into-a-tool-for-customers-amid-covid-19/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">use the Starbucks® App</a> to order ahead and pay can pick up their order from a barista at the door or at the drive-thru. As Starbucks gradually re-expands its services to <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-canada-welcomes-customers-back-grab-and-go-service/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">grab-and-go</a> and <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-canada-starts-reopening-stores-for-dine-in/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">dine-in</a>, customers will also be able to walk into a cafe and place an order at the counter. Customers can pay with any method, however, Starbucks encourages downloading and using the Starbuck App for contactless payment at participating stores.

Starbucks has announced a number of <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/what-customers-need-to-know-about-starbucks-response-to-covid-19/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">in-store safety measures</a> to help protect the health and well-being of its partners (employees) and customers. This includes adding floor guides and signage to maintain social distancing, plexi-shields at some POS and handoff areas, and requiring all partners to wear facial coverings during their shifts.

Starbucks will continue to work closely with local leadership, health authorities and provincial governments as the landscape and regulations change.

Starting June 23, customers can treat themselves to Cold Brew or Nitro Cold Brew with Cinnamon Almond Foam. These new beverages are intended as a subtly sweet option with coffee-forward notes.
