Starbucks Canada today announced it will be launching a pilot of Starbucks Delivers, powered by Uber Eats, in Quebec making the service available for the first time in French Canada as customer demand for delivery is on the rise.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Since March 2020, demand for Starbucks Delivers has tripled as Canadians look for convenient ways to enjoy Starbucks in their daily routines, while continuing to practice social distancing. The addition of delivery in Quebec is part of a national expansion of the service that will bring dozens more Starbucks stores onto the Uber Eats platform to better serve customers’ growing and evolving needs across the country.

Starbucks is accelerating the transformation of its store formats to best serve evolving customer needs of convenience, connection and personalization in the wake of the pandemic. The expansion of Starbucks Delivers powered by Uber Eats joins the company’s growing list of available convenience formats, including drive-thru, <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-canada-welcomes-customers-back-grab-and-go-service/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">grab-and-go</a> and <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/starbucks-canada-to-begin-testing-curbside-pickup/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mobile Order Curbside Pickup</a>.

At launch, customers in Quebec will be able to order the majority of Starbucks core menu items through the Uber Eats mobile app and customize their orders with over 170,000 beverage customizations — all without leaving their home. The 10-store pilot will begin on August 25, and will include locations in Montreal, Laval, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Mont-Royal, and Boucherville.&nbsp;
