Last week, Starbucks announced an <a href="https://stories.starbucks.ca/en/stories/2020/more-ways-to-pay-starbucks-rewards-loyalty-program/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">exciting new update</a> to its industry-leading Starbucks® Rewards loyalty program. As of Sept. 15, customers in Canada and the U.S. who download the <a href="https://www.starbucks.ca/coffeehouse%2Fmobile-apps" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Starbucks app</a> and sign up for <a href="https://www.starbucks.ca/rewards/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Starbucks Rewards</a> will be able to pay with credit or debit cards, cash, or select mobile wallets and earn Stars without having to preload a Starbucks Card.&nbsp;

Members can choose to pay with their preloaded Starbucks Card and earn two Stars per $1, or earn one Star per $1 spent when they scan and pay with a credit/debit card, cash, or select mobile wallets at participating stores.

This enhancement simplifies the Starbucks digital experience for customers by offering them more convenient ways to purchase their favourite menu items. It also meansmore customers can participate in the Starbucks Rewards program and take advantage of the benefits and personalized offers available.
