Starbucks Launches New Nondairy Cold Foams


New food also joins the menu with a new iced coffee to cool off with this summer

Summertime continues at Starbucks with a new menu of cold beverages and delicious food at stores in Canada. Beginning, Tuesday, June 25, new nondairy cold foams and Caramel Vanilla Swirl Iced Coffee, along with new food to pair with your favourite beverages, including the Three Cheese & Egg Sandwich and Ham & Swiss Croissant, which will be available year-round.

New Nondairy Vanilla Coffee Enhancer and Nondairy Cold Foams

Starbucks is introducing new nondairy cold foams and nondairy vanilla coffee enhancer to the permanent menu, which make the perfect silky, smooth addition to any cold beverage. New nondairy cold foams are available in a variety of flavours that customers can customize their favourite cold beverage with, including Nondairy Chocolate Cold Foam and Nondairy Vanilla Cold Foam.

Additionally, customers can enjoy the Iced Nondairy Salted Caramel Cookie Matcha, available to order in stores or on the Starbucks app for a limited time. Vibrantly green, creamy matcha with oat beverage topped with a light and silky nondairy salted caramel cold foam and cinnamon crumbles makes for the perfect sweet and salty drink.

Caramel Vanilla Swirl Iced Coffee

Available for a limited time, customers can try a delicious twist on Starbucks new iced coffee blend with the new Caramel Vanilla Swirl Iced Coffee featuring a swirl of caramel and a cascade of Vanilla Sweet Cream.

New name, same refreshing taste: Strawberry Coconut Drink now Pink Drink in Canada

Beginning June 25, Strawberry Coconut Drink will now be renamed as Pink Drink on Starbucks menus in Canada. Starbucks Pink Drink is a light and refreshing beverage that features the sweet flavours of Strawberry Acai Refreshers® with accents of passion fruit and acai combined with coconut beverage and topped with a scoop of strawberries to give the drink its signature rosey pink hue. The beverage first joined the menu in 2017 after it quickly gained popularity when the beverage customization took social media by storm.

Only in Quebec – Alicia's Drink: Iced Macadamia Almond Shaken Espresso

Starbucks and artist Alicia Moffet teamed up to create the perfect drink of the summer, exclusively available for a limited time at stores in Quebec. Alicia’s drink, an Iced Macadamia Almond Shaken Espresso, is made with Starbucks Blonde® Espresso Roast, sweetened with macadamia syrup, shaken together with ice and topped with creamy almond beverage and toasted cookie crumbles. 

Carefully crafted by Alicia herself with the Starbucks beverage development team, Alicia took inspiration from her favourite beverages and flavours at Starbucks, as well as her love of customization and creativity, to create a drink that is subtly sweet and perfect for hot summer days ahead. 

“One thing I love about my trips to Starbucks is how I can customize my beverage the way I like it - whether that is adding a hint of sweetness and macadamia flavours to my favourite espresso beverage, Starbucks Blonde® Iced Shaken Espresso, using almond beverage to make it Nondairy, or adding a topping of slightly salty, toasted cookie crumbles,” Alicia shared.    

Customers can order Alicia’s drink in Starbucks stores, only in the province of Quebec and while supplies last.

More Food to Savour

Customers now have more to choose from when pairing their favourite beverage with a snack or sandwich on their next trip to Starbucks.

The new Three Cheese & Egg Sandwich is vegetarian-friendly and features a fluffy cage-free egg frittata with Parmesan and Monterrey cheese, topped with Cheddar cheese on a warm, artisan roll. This is the perfect sandwich for when you’re on the go with a Starbucks Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew in-hand. 

For a completely savoury experience, the new Ham & Swiss Croissant includes hickory-smoked ham and melted Swiss cheese, all wrapped in a buttery croissant with perfectly soft layers and a golden-brown crust.

It simply wouldn’t be summer without a cake pop. Available for a limited time, while supplies last, the new Orange Cream Cake Pop is the perfect companion to your Pink Drink with orange cream cake mixed with buttercream, dipped in chocolatey icing and finished with an orange slice design. Customers can also still enjoy the Pineapple Cloud Cake, which continues to be available on the summer menu.

New Merchandise

Starbucks is keeping cool with a brand-new lineup of seasonal drinkware in patterns that pop including dazzling cold cups, keychains and more. Assortment will vary by store, available for a limited time, while supplies last.

Starbucks is also launching its new Discovery Series, a collection of merchandise that tells stories of each location through its iconic landmarks, unique food, local activities, and people. This summer, the Discovery Series launches in Canada with Niagara Falls and Canada mugs and will expand to nearly 20 additional Canada locations for customers to enjoy.
