Beginning August 13, Canadian fan-favourite, Cool Lime Starbucks Refreshers ^® Beverage, returns to Starbucks stores in Canada for a limited time, along with new Lime Coconut Drink and Spicy Lime

Ever since saying goodbye in 2019, Cool Lime Refreshers ^® Beverage have amassed a following of loyal fans who regularly take to social media to clamour for a comeback.

In fact, fans even created a petition to bring back Cool Lime that racked up thousands of signatures. 

Canadians asked, and Starbucks has answered. Starbucks is bringing back the much-loved Cool Lime Refreshers ^® beverages for the first time in five years on August 13, for a limited time this summer — exclusively in Canada.   

“Over the years, we’ve seen an incredible fan base blossom for Cool Lime Refreshers Beverage as it’s one of the most asked about beverages by our customers in Canada. We’re beyond thrilled by this enthusiastic response, so we knew we had to bring it back before summer’s end,” said Deborah Neff, Starbucks Canada vice-president of product and marketing. “The return of Cool Lime demonstrates our commitment to responding to customer demands and tastes and we can’t wait to have this iconic beverage back on Starbucks menus starting next week.” 

Cool Lime Starbucks Refreshers beverages return to Starbucks stores nationwide on August 13, alongside three new ways to enjoy the refreshing classic flavour of zesty lime, for a limited time, while supplies last. 

Cool Lime Starbucks Refreshers® Beverage is a lively blend of lime flavour, shaken with ice and a real lime slice. It’s a delicious pick-me-up delivering zesty hydration. Caffeinated with Green coffee extract and served over ice, this is the pick-me-up your afternoon is calling for.

For customers that enjoy the delightful zing of lemonade, the NEW Cool Lime Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers® Beverage is a bright and refreshing beverage combining Cool Lime Starbucks Refreshers® base, mint flavour and a real lime slice shaken with ice and lemonade.

The NEW nondairy Lime Coconut Drink adds creamy coconut beverage to the Cool Lime Starbucks Refreshers® Beverage for a bright and dreamy, summer sip.

Continuing to build on the 'swicy’ trend with the return of Starbucks line-up of Spicy Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers beverages, the NEW Spicy Lime brings together flavours of zesty lime and lemonade with a Spicy Chili Powder Blend that awakens the senses. A refreshing escape with plenty of heat!

Starbucks customers enjoyed their first sip of Cool Lime Refreshers Beverage in 2012 alongside the global debut of Starbucks Refreshers ® Beverages, which delivered a distinctly new take on thirst-quenching refreshment while providing a natural boost of energy from green coffee extract and real fruit juice. Since then, Starbucks Refreshers have evolved with the introduction of exciting flavours including Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refreshers® beverages, the popular customer-inspired Pink Drink, and Summer Berry Refreshers® beverages, featuring popping raspberry flavoured pearls, as well as adding coconut beverage in 2015 as a creamy new way to enjoy Starbucks Refreshers beverages.
