Starbucks Iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte Returns Alongside New Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Chai and Returning Fall Favourites  

Starting Thursday, August 22, the fall menu will return to Starbucks stores in Canada, marking what many consider the unofficial start of the season. In addition to the highly anticipated Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL), the new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Chai will join the full lineup of fall favourites, which will be available for a limited time while supplies last.

Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

Pumpkin fans rejoice! The beverage that started the pumpkin spice phenomenon more than 20 years ago that nobody can resist is back at Starbucks. Since its debut in 2003, the Pumpkin Spice Latte continues to be Starbucks most popular seasonal beverage and is enjoyed by customers around the world. Made with real pumpkin, the handcrafted beverage combines Starbucks Signature Espresso and steamed milk with the celebrated flavour combination of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices, the beverage is available hot, iced or blended.  

The fan-favourite Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew also returns to the menu. Crafted with Starbucks® Cold Brew sweetened with vanilla syrup, topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice to create a perfectly balanced fall sip. 

Following its official introduction to Starbucks fall menu last year, the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai returns. Inspired by customer and barista customizations, this creamy fall beverage pairs a rich blend of spiced chai notes with pumpkin cream cold foam and a dusting of pumpkin spice.

All About Apple

Originating as a popular customer customization, the new Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Chai features warming spice flavours of chai combined with creamy oat beverage and topped with silky, nondairy apple crisp cold foam. This new seasonal sip is reminiscent of homemade apple pie often enjoyed at fall gatherings.

Also returning is the Apple Crisp Oat Macchiato, featuring layered flavours of apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar combined with rich espresso poured over creamy oat beverage, topped with a spiced apple drizzle to create a delicious, fall flavoured espresso beverage available hot, iced and blended.

The Starbucks Iced Apple Crisp Oat Shaken Espresso returns and features a perfectly balanced combination of Starbucks® Blonde Espresso with notes of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar, shaken together and topped with oat beverage for a smooth, seasonal sip that is full of fall flavour.

Customers can also find two additional fall beverages, exclusively in the Starbucks app. The Iced Caramel Apple Cream Latte is made with rich espresso combined with milk and notes of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar, served over ice and topped with smooth salted caramel cream cold foam. The nondairy Iced Honey Apple Almond Flat White features Starbucks® Blonde Espresso and almond beverage poured over ice with a hint of honey and nondairy apple crisp cold foam.

A Bite of Fall from the Bakery Case

Joining the fall menu for a limited time while supplies last, the new Baked Apple Croissant is made with layers of croissant dough wrapped around a warm apple filling, topped with sugar and baked to a golden finish to make the perfect fall treat. Plus, as a nod to one of the most ubiquitous animals in Canada, customers can enjoy the new Raccoon Cake Pop, which combines vanilla cake and buttercream, dipped in purple-grey chocolaty icing and finished with a raccoon design.  

Also returning to the fall bakery case include Starbucks Fox Sugar Cookie, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, as well as the popular Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf. 

Guatemala Casi Cielo® Whole Bean Coffee

Celebrating its 20th year, Guatemala Casi Cielo® is a customers and partner (employee) favourite for nearly as long as the PSL. Representing the finest expression from one of Starbucks most beloved coffee regions, the single-origin, whole bean coffee is sourced exclusively from Guatemala’s high-altitude, volcanic Antigua region and harvested once each year from coffee cherries picked at peak ripeness. This single-origin coffee is bright, smooth and irresistibly balanced , with elegant floral aromatics and notes of citrus and dark cocoa.

Customers can fall head over heels for a variety of seasonally inspired drinkware, including tumblers, cold cups, the first Starbucks x Stanley Quencher in Canada, mugs and more in vibrant orange, deep purple and rich green hues.

Customers can also find Starbucks Fall flavours where groceries are sold, including Starbucks Pumpkin Spice flavoured coffees and creamers. The lineup of new and returning fall coffees and creamers are available now online and where groceries are sold nationwide for a limited time, while supplies last.
