A sip of springtime: New Starbucks Iced Cherry Chai
Starbucks newest addition to its seasonal menu brings springtime flavor in every sip, in Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada starting March 4.

There’s something about Starbucks new Iced Cherry Chai that tastes like spring. The beverage, which arrives in Starbucks stores in the U.S. and Canada starting on March 4, begins with Starbucks classic iced chai latte that’s topped with cherry cream cold foam with subtle floral and almond notes. A sprinkle of cherry crunch flavoured topping adds a finishing touch.
“When you take a sip of Iced Cherry Chai, you immediately get a creamy texture and warm spice notes along with cherry flavors and floral notes – and it all comes together in an approachable way,” said Billy Altieri, lead beverage developer for Starbucks.
Iced Cherry Chai is making its debut this spring alongside last year’s customer-favourite Iced Lavender Cream Oat Matcha and Lavender Oat Latte. It is also Starbucks first springtime chai beverage. Last fall, Starbucks offered an Iced Pumpkin Cream as well as the Iced Gingerbread Oat Chai during the holiday season.
“There’s a fun and whimsical element to the Iced Cherry Chai, while at the same time feeling modern and sophisticated,” Altieri said.
“Our customers love to drink the Iced Chai Latte year-round,” Altieri said. “I’m excited to give them another way to enjoy our chai.”
