Starbucks Launches New Matcha Drink and Welcomes Back Lactose-Free Milk
In February, the new Iced Banana Bread Matcha joins the Starbucks menu, along with 1971 Blend and Valentine’s Day merch, available for a limited time. The menu also welcomes back lactose-free milk as an alternative dairy beverage.
Iced Banana Bread Matcha

Inspired by the comforting flavours of a classic baked treat, the Iced Banana Bread Matcha combines unsweetened matcha with brown sugar syrup and milk over ice, topped with a layer of velvety banana cream cold foam and a caramel crunch topping. Available as of Feb. 3 in-stores.
Lactose-Free Milk Returns

Starting on Feb. 10, Lactose‑free milk is officially back at Starbucks. After listening closely to strong customer demand, we’re reintroducing this option to make your favourite drinks even more accessible and enjoyable. As with all our alternative dairy options, there will be no additional fee for choosing lactose‑free milk. Enjoy all the taste, none of the lactose!
1971 Roast

Also on Feb. 9 in coffeehouses is a new bold and dark-roast coffee blend that celebrates Starbucks five decades of roasting craft. With notes of toasted sugar and rich walnut, 1971 Roast is crafted from a blend of the finest beans from Colombia, Sumatra and Brazil.
