Starbucks® New Protein Lattes and Cold Foam Drinks Now Available
Starbucks new lineup of Protein Lattes and Cold Foam Drinks, which deliver up to 36 grams of protein per grande (16 fl oz), are now available in Starbucks coffeehouses across Canada. Protein-boosted milk and a variety of protein cold foams are also available for customers to add protein to nearly any beverage. Made with premium whey and available in zero added sugar options, the new Starbucks protein drinks will be on the menu year-round.

Iced Banana Cream Protein Matcha
Smooth and creamy with 24 grams of protein per grande, this green tea latte is handcrafted with vibrant unsweetened matcha with classic syrup and topped with new velvety Banana Protein Cold Foam.
“We were inspired by how matcha and fruit flavours naturally complement each other,” says Sakthi Vijayakumar, beverage developer at Starbucks. “The sweet, creamy texture of banana protein cold foam pairs beautifully with our smooth and vibrant matcha latte, creating a beverage that’s as protein packed as it is delicious.”
Iced Vanilla Cream Protein Latte
Featuring layers of delicious flavours and 26 grams of protein per grande, Starbucks creamy iced latte is topped with Vanilla Protein Cold Foam creating a high protein, rich espresso beverage rounded out with sweet vanilla flavours.
Chocolate Cream Protein Cold Brew
Handcrafted to deliver about 19 grams of protein in a grande, smooth Chocolate Protein Cold Foam layers Starbucks bold signature Cold Brew coffee sweetened with vanilla syrup.

Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Matcha (hot or iced)
Delivering 28–36 grams of protein per hot or iced grande, the Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Matcha combines unsweetened matcha and sugar-free vanilla syrup with Protein-boosted Milk for a balanced, vibrant matcha latte—without the added sugar.
Sugar-Free Vanilla Protein Latte (hot or iced)
Crafted with bold, signature espresso, sugar-free vanilla syrup, and Protein-boosted Milk for a delicious, smooth latte with no added sugar and 27-29 grams of protein per grande in a hot or iced beverage.
Protein Matcha (hot or iced)
A high-protein boost to the beloved Matcha Latte combines unsweetened matcha with classic syrup and Protein-boosted Milk, delivering 28 – 36 grams of protein per grande for hot or iced matcha, and a vibrant, sweet flavour.
Vanilla Protein Latte (hot or iced)
Handcrafted with Starbucks signature espresso, Protein-boosted Milk and sweet vanilla flavour – the smooth and delicious Vanilla Protein Latte packs 27–29 grams of protein in a hot or iced grande beverage.
Two Ways to Customize with Protein

Starbucks® Protein-Boosted Milk
With no added sugar or compromise on flavour, Starbucks Protein-boosted Milk is crafted daily by Starbucks baristas, blending creamy 2% milk with premium whey protein.
Protein-boosted Milk can be substituted in any hot or iced beverage, to get up to 36 grams of protein per grande, where milk is part of the recipe for $1.45, prices may vary by store. The exact amount of added protein will vary by beverage and customization. The amount of added protein will vary by beverage and customization. Protein-boosted Milk cannot be customized added to beverages where dairy milk is not part of the recipe, nor is it available as a creamer.

Starbucks® Protein Cold Foam
Delivering approximately 15 grams of extra protein per grande, Starbucks Protein Cold Foams are a creamy, frothy topping that adds creaminess and flavour to any cold coffee, iced tea or Refreshers, creating a delicious, layered drink. Customers can add Protein Cold Foam to their beverage of any size for $2.25, prices may vary by store.
Starbucks Protein Cold Foam is available in a variety of flavours, including new banana, vanilla, chocolate, matcha, salted caramel and brown sugar. Seasonal flavours currently available for a limited time include pumpkin and pecan.
